Allen East has invested heavily in technology. Every student in grades 3-12 has their own laptop with most being Chromebooks. Each student in grades k-2 has access to a tablet. In total, there are over 1,200 computers/tablets in the district with most classrooms having smartboards and document cameras. Allen East utilizes a learning management system called Schoology for grades Pk-12. Schoology allows teachers to place entire courses on the platform as well as being used as a communication tool for teachers and families.

Allen East currently employs eight teachers who are credentialed to teach college level courses.

Moreover, Allen East has students taking college courses from Ohio State, Rhodes, Ohio Northern, Sinclair and University of Northwestern Ohio.

Allen East has a fully functioning digital academy. The digital academy allows students to take courses on-line to gain credit. Students use the digital academy for a variety of reasons. Some students use the academy for credit recovery to help earn credits to graduate from high school. Other students use the academy to take courses not offered at Allen East in a traditional setting. Several students take courses via the digital academy because of a medical condition that does not allow them to attend a traditional school.

Allen East has two preschool classrooms that for ages 3-5. The program houses special education students who attend tuition free and typical students who pay tuition. There are four total session of preschool Monday through Thursday.
